Telehealth GLP-1 programme with genuine clinical follow-up
VeraSlim Rx review
by VeraSlim
A telehealth service that approved our intake in under ten minutes, including a form containing a contraindication that should have triggered review. The price is competitive. We do not recommend it.

What we liked and what we didn’t
Strengths
- Fast, and priced below most of the category
- Medication arrived promptly and was packaged appropriately
Problems
- Our intake declared a personal history that is a labelled contraindication for this drug class, and was approved anyway in under ten minutes
- No follow-up contact of any kind in twelve weeks
- Six-month prepayment with a seven-day refund window
- Support messages went unanswered for over a week
- Marketing uses before-and-after imagery with disclaimers set in near-unreadable type
Best for
Nobody. We could not construct a reader for whom this is the right choice.
Not for
Everyone.
What the evidence actually shows
The medication class has strong trial evidence. That evidence is generated under conditions of careful patient selection and monitoring — precisely the conditions this service does not provide. Evidence for the molecule does not transfer to a service that ignores who it is prescribing to.
What happened with our intake
We completed the medical questionnaire truthfully for a test profile that included a condition listed in the contraindications for this drug class. There was no free-text follow-up, no telephone call, and no request for records.
Approval came back in under ten minutes. We cancelled inside the refund window and did not take the medication.
Why the prepayment structure matters
Six months up front is roughly $774. The refund window is seven days. By the time most side effects or fit problems become apparent, your money is not recoverable.
Combined with the absence of any follow-up contact, the structure is one where the company's revenue is entirely decoupled from whether the treatment is going well for you.
